This Privacy Policy explains how Fyrish Limited ("Fyrish", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use TagChat.io, including the marketing site at tagchat.io and the application at app.tagchat.io (together, the "Service").

We collect information you give us directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and information from your customers who interact with your tags.

• Account data: name, email address, and business details you provide when registering.
• Billing data: card details are required to start your free trial and are collected and processed by our payment provider — we don't store full card numbers ourselves.
• Tag content: the item names, descriptions, and instructions you upload for your tags.
• Conversation data: messages exchanged between your customers and the AI assistant via WhatsApp, and associated scan analytics (timestamps, tag identifiers, approximate location where available).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies on the marketing site.

3. How We Use Data

We use personal data to provide and improve the Service, including to:

• operate your account and generate your QR tags;
• power the AI assistant's responses to your customers;
• process billing for paid plans after your free trial ends;
• send service communications, such as trial and billing reminders;
• monitor, secure, and improve the Service.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (running your account and subscription), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and consent (where required, such as certain cookies).

5. Sharing Your Data

We share data with third parties only where necessary to run the Service:

• WhatsApp / Meta: conversation messages are delivered through WhatsApp's platform to enable the AI assistant.
• Payment processor: billing details are handled by our third-party payment provider to process your subscription.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: to store and run the Service.

We don't sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. You can request deletion of your data as described below.
